Founded near Pittsburgh, PA in 1979, Bolttech Mannings helped pioneer the industrial bolting services industry. Serving customers in the oil and gas refining, chemical processing, power and pipeline industries, Bolttech Mannings grew by earning a reputation for solving problems with innovative solutions. By 1991, unable to find tools capable of meeting the durability and safety requirements that our own technicians needed, we started to manufacture hydraulic torque and tensioning systems to be used in our service fleet. Customers recognizing the superior quality of our tools demanded we make them available to them. Thirty-five years and thousands of service and research hours later we have grown into a fully integrated service and products company with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, a full-time staff of engineers and a culture with a passion for solving problems.

Everyday Bolttech Mannings’ equipment is used by our internal field services team on some of the world’s toughest applications within refinery turnarounds, power station outages, steel mills and pipeline compressor stations to name a few. Exposed to the elements, challenged by tight space constraints, strict accuracy and demanding requirements, our tooling performs 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.
A full staff of engineers with over 70 combined years of engineering experience oversees the design and development of our entire tooling fleet. Equipped with state-of-the-art CAD 3D modeling software, Finite Element Analysis Software and extensive field research we have the tools and knowledge to design solutions for any challenge.
Bolttech Mannings operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
